WorkSafe Victoria issued a media release warning of the high winds which occur in Victoria during Spring and the need to ensure construction sites are appropriately secured. This warning is also appropriate to the Quarrying sector as strong winds are able to move heavy equipment, so it is important work sites are properly secured so they do not pose a risk to workers and the public.
