Fatalagram Issued following vehicle rollover accident

The Mine Safety and Health Administration USA (MSHA) issued a fatalgram following a vehicle rollover accident on a haul road. Although the accident occurred at a coal mine, it is the type of accident that could easily happen at an aggregate operation also. A 46-year-old miner was fatally injured in a vehicle accident which occurred along an access/haul road. The victim (passenger) and a coworker (driver) were traveling down an inclined portion of the haul road when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle, causing it to strike the road berm and roll over in the roadway.
