The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) issued a serious accident alert after an incident at a sand and gravel mine. A miner was working atop the tail pulley section of an inclined conveyor, changing a speed reducer. He fell 42 inches from the conveyor to the ground and received serious injuries.
